15th Annual Connect (X) Golf Tournament (Monday, 9:30 AM at the Celebration Golf Course): If you’re looking for a fun and relaxed environment to entertain existing clients or win over new prospects, consider attending the annual conference golf tournament. While registration is closed for players, there are still plenty of opportunities to enjoy a beautiful Florida morning before the conference is in full-swing.
Connect (X) Launch Party (Monday, 7-10 PM at the Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar): Don’t miss tonight’s launch party, where you can enjoy the open-air setting, tropical ambiance, vintage décor, upbeat Latin music, and great drinks and food at one of Orlando’s premiere dining destinations.
Keynote Speech – Neville Ray, CTO of T-Mobile (Tuesday, 10:15-10:40 AM at Windermere W-X): Serving as CTO of T-Mobile since December 2010, Neville Ray has more than 25 years of experience in the design, deployment, and operational management of wireless networks in the United States and worldwide. Ray is widely recognized for his leadership in the telecommunications industry.
Keynote Speech – Shelley McKinley, GM of Microsoft’s Technology and Corporate Responsibility Group (Tuesday, 11:05-11:30 AM at Windermere W-X): As the manager of Microsoft’s TCR Group, McKinley helps deliver on Microsoft’s mission of empowering every person and organization on the planet to achieve more by driving the use of technology to benefit society.
Exhibition Hall (Tuesday, 12:30-6 PM and Wednesday, 12-5 PM): Experience the excitement of the showroom floor, where hundreds of telecom technology vendors will highlight their offers. Make sure you stop by Booth 815 to see for yourself how OneVizion provides comprehensive solutions for today’s 5G challenges, from asset, document and project management to field workforce management and real-time video collaboration tools. 4th Annual Music Movement Charity Concert (Tuesday, 7 PM at BB King’s Blues Club): This year’s line-up includes Joe Nichols, Billy Dawson, and The Wireless Band, among others. Enjoy great music for a great cause – all proceeds from the concert benefit music-centric therapy programs for young people with Autism and other forms of IDD. Keynote Speech – Dan Rabinovitsj, VP of Facebook (Wednesday, 9:35-10 AM at Windermere W-X): Rabinovitsj has 30 years’ experience in communications and networking and a passion for connecting people and building great products and disrupting markets. Dan has served in executive leadership roles in Silicon Labs, NXP, Atheros, Qualcomm and Ruckus Networks.
The OneVizion Innovation Center (Wednesday, 12-5 PM in the Bayhill 19 meeting room): This is a great opportunity for both prospects and existing users to learn more about our innovative platform, chat with industry veterans (including CEO John Patton and VP of Telecom Innovation Gary Williamson), and escape the bustle of the showroom floor. Supplier Diversity Summit (Wednesday, 2:30-5:30 PM in Celebration 12-13): The Supplier Diversity Summit is dedicated to connecting a more diverse group of businesses to major wireless companies and to facilitate productive discussions focused on the role diversity plays in the wireless infrastructure industry. Procurement officials from major wireless companies will be onsite at the event for one-on-one meetings with attendees.
Panel Session – “Small Cells & Municipalities: Business Solutions to the 5G Siting Bottleneck” (Wednesday, 3:15-4:15 PM in Celebration 1-2): Join OneVizion VP of Telecom Innovation Gary Williamson and other industry thought leaders for this informative panel discussion. As part of the conference track “5G Infrastructure: Fiber, Small Cells and Fixed Wireless,” this discussion will focus on using innovative business solutions (including processes, strategies and systems) to overcome municipal-level legislative challenges to small-cell deployments.
